My LA sister in subversive shenanigans Tequila Mockingbird and I made another Indo-dance cover of yet another rock n roll classic, Bowie's Wild Is the Wind. I arranged, played and produced the music while Tequila sang her ass off, with me wailing in the background. We are especially thrilled to share it with the luminescent Angie Bowie, who used one of our similarly styled Indo-dance covers - the Stones' Jumping Jack Flash - on her AidsBeGone CD compilation fundraiser for further AIDS research. Special shout-out to the legendary Philco Raves for recording Tequila in LA so I could put it all together in New York, and to video artist Jasmine Hirst, my art sister who will make an undoubtedly stunning video of the track in the not-so-distant future.
